Heart recipient Henry Driskel becomes haunted by a re-occurring nightmare following his transplant operation. The nightmares quickly lead to insomnia and an obsession with uncovering the mystery behind his donors’ death. Henry’s budding relationship with Penny, the hospital therapy nurse, becomes threatened as a fondness for junk food, cigarettes and a mysterious younger woman, Josie, emerge. Henry soon realises that
by vicariously re-living the habits of his donor, he may have the answer to the disturbing circumstances behind his donors’ death- placing himself and those around him in
grave danger.
The storyboards for the film have been illustrated by Dan Monceaux at Danimations. The slideshow features the opening scenes to the film where the donor is killed in a traffic accident, this moment is cut with Henry taking a meditation class from Penny the hospital therapy nurse. The donor is quickly rushed to hospital and Henry's transplant takes place.
